OHMYGOSSIP — Wes Nelson and Kieron Dyer have signed up for ‘Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins’.
The former ‘Love Island’ star and retired footballer are among the cast set to take on the survival show, and the pair are both said to be in shape and “eager to do well” on the series.
A source told The Sun Online: “It’s a huge challenge for the pair of them.
“They may have the muscles, but do they have the stamina? They’re both seriously fit and eager to do well.”
The forthcoming ‘Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins’ series looks set to be the most diverse ever, with more BAME contestants than white on the show, which is fronted by Ant Middleton.
An insider told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre TV column: “Channel 4 is making sure all of the shows it airs reflect modern Britain and SAS is no different.
“They think they’ve cast one of the best series of SAS yet, as all the names are impressive and there is a real mix of characters.”
Channel 4 have enlisted stars such as Wes, Kieron, ‘Loose Women’ panellist Saira Khan, singer Alexandra Burke, and TV presenter Ore Oduba.
Other celebs set to take part include Ulrika Jonsson, Vicky Pattison, Jake Quickenden, and James Cracknell.
The insider added: “Kieron, Jake, Wes and James are all very physically fit but, mentally, you have stars like Vicky who is a tough cookie and won’t crack easily under pressure.”
They will face their toughest challenges as they each endure gruelling tasks recreated from the SAS’s secret selection process.
It will reunite Vicky and Kieron after the pair lived together in the Australian jungle for ‘I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!’ in 2015.
The former ‘Geordie Shore’ star said he was the biggest “wind up” on the show as they were both very competitive.
She previously said: “My least favourite campmate was Kieron. He used to wind us up. I loved the bones of him one minute, and then he used to wind us up all the time.
“He knew what he was doing. He wanted to win. He knew I had a competitive edge. So he used to get under my skin and wind us up. He’ll say the same about me. Loved him, but he wound me up.”
