OHMYGOSSIP — Chris Maloney is “trying to be very optimistic” after being hospitalised this week.
The former ‘X Factor’ star – who was a finalist on the TV talent show back in 2012 – has been recovering from a mystery illness, and he admitted the medical team still can’t give him “that answer” as he looks to head home “soon”.
He tweeted: “Thank u for all ur well wishes & positive vibes. I am trying to be very optimistic i’ll be out of hospital soon & recovery short.
“Unfortunately the doctors & nurse’s who are wonderful cannot give me that answer. Once again thank you & your kinds words do not go unnoticed xx (sic)”
On January 3, the 42-year-old singer shared a snap of himself in a hospital bed as he revealed he was spending “another day” there.
And then on Wednesday (08.01.20) he seemed to tease his own predicament with a reference to ‘Big Brother’ narrator Marcus Bentley, although he also appeared frustrated.
Alongside a crying emoji, Chris – who appeared on the celebrity edition of the show in 2016 – wrote: “In the voice of Marcus Bentley ‘Day 7 In The Big Hospital Bed’ & no sign of me getting out soon (sic)”
Chris is yet to reveal the reason for his medical treatment.
His hospital visit came shortly after he finished a run in pantomime as he played Prince Charming in ‘Cinderella’ in Bradford.
Ahead of his last show, he tweeted: “So its my final performance of #Cinderella #Bradford #PrinceCharming #Panto and what a way to end with another SOLD OUT SHOW!
Thrilled every show has been a sell out and the management @BradPlayhouse has just said its beat box office records! So happy xx (sic)”
