Coronation Street’s Sinead Tinker and Daniel Osbourne to reunite?

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Coronation Street’ factory girl Sinead Tinker is set for a shock on the cobbles next week when her boyfriend Daniel Osbourne propsoes.
The journalist decides to take the plunge after his elderly friend Flora McArdle gives him an engagement ring which is a family heirloom as a thank you for all his help in giving her back her confidence and independence.
Flora hands over the ring as a parting gift after she discovers that she is going to inherit £250,000 from her late son Vinny’s will and is able to get her own her own place, telling Daniel he should have it as she can see he and Sinead are very much in love.
Rob Mallard – who plays Daniel – insists the proposal is something that Daniel is totally up for as he realises that Sinead (Katie McGlynn) is “100 per cent the woman for him” after a nudge from Flora.
He said: “Sinead is 100 per cent the woman for him, and he’s keen to seal the deal. Having seen their love is real, [Flora] decides to pass on a family heirloom [and] basically orchestrates the whole proposal. It’s an interesting theme that Daniel keeps getting pushed around by older women! He’s not reluctant to do it – he’s worried she might say no – but he’s given a firm push in the right direction. I think the proposal was always on his mind. He was just waiting for the right time to do it.”
If they do go ahead and get married in Weatherfield, Rob believes that the wedding will be a unique affair due to factory girl Sinead’s quirky personality.
He said: “I can’t imagine that it would be a very traditional wedding. With Sinead in charge, we’re definitely talking something quite different.”
