Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to adopt a dog?

OHMYGOSSIP — Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly planning to adopt a dog.
The 33-year-old royal and his soon-to-be wife are said to be thinking about bringing a rescue pooch into their home in Kensington Palace, London, once they’ve tied the knot in two weeks’ time and are hoping that Battersea Cats and Dogs Home – of which Harry’s step-mother Duchess Camilla is patron – will have a suitable candidate.
According to The Sun newspaper, it’s not known what breed of dog the couple are looking for but they’ll be hoping to find one that gets along with Meghan’s beagle Guy – who she rescued in Canada – as he now lives in their humble abode after he was shipped over from the US when the actress moved over last year.
However, adding another four-legged friend to their family probably won’t be happening any time soon as the couple currently have their hands full with preparing for their wedding on May 19.
The flame-haired prince and the 36-year-old actress will tie the knot at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle, Windsor, in front of the whole world – just eight months after they announced their engagement.
Preparations for the big day are well under way and Kensington Palace has confirmed that Meghan’s father Thomas Markle will be walking his daughter down the aisle following reports he hadn’t been invited.
The statement said: “Both of the bride’s parents will have important roles in the wedding.
“On the morning of the wedding, Ms. Ragland will travel with Ms. Markle by car to Windsor Castle. Mr. Markle will walk his daughter down the aisle of St George’s Chapel. Ms. Markle is delighted to have her parents by her side on this important and happy occasion.”
Alongside Meghan’s parents, the happy couple are also “keen to involve” Harry’s late mother Princess Diana – who passed away in 1997 – in the ceremony, and her sister, Lady Jane Fellowes, will give a reading.
