The For Your Entertainment hitmaker was accused in a police report filed by a photographer of trying to grab his backpack and camera in a tussle on a Miami beach on Thursday.
While the former American Idol runner-up admits he lost his temper with the snapper, Adam denied wrestling him to the ground.
“Battery? Nope,” Lambert wrote on his Twitter page Friday.
“I attempted to grab a camera, no punches were thrown and no one was on the ground…It was literally harmless. If embarrassment is a crime — that’s all I’m guilty of.”
Miami officials must now decide whether to press charges against Lambert. The photographer did not report any injuries.
