OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Big Brother’ co-host AJ Odudu has been inundated with DMs from fans of the show, including ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ stars Jedward.
AJ, 35, and Will Best, 38, are fronting the reboot of the iconic reality show, which is being revived on ITV2, and they have been loving all of the “opinions, the buzz, excitement, and anticipation” leading up to its comeback on Sunday (08.10.23).
She told The Sun: “Yeah my DMs are popping off — but sadly not in the way I would want them to!
“But the fans have all been really amazing — seeing so many people have opinions, the buzz, the excitement, the anticipation.
“I got a message off Jedward — I heard one they sent Will and so I was like ‘Oh! I want one’.”
Will said: “Jedward sent me a lovely heartfelt song and they said ‘Sending you all the Jepic energy in the world.’
“I’m going to listen to it just before we go on! That’s the last thing I want to hear before the producer in my ear.”
Asked if they are nervous, AJ said: “This is such a big show, it would normally feel like such a daunting thing to take on, but knowing I’ve got Will by my side I’m so excited to get started.”
And Will insists the reboot will feel “new” and fresh” from previous runs.
He added: “Obviously, it’s making sure the parts of the show we all know and love are there, but it’s going to have a new, fresh feel because it’s new, fresh people who are a product of 2023, not 2018, and the world has changed. People are a lot more savvy nowadays.”
