OHMYGOSSIP — The ‘I’m A Celebrity… South Africa’ stars face an ultimatum in tonight’s (27.04.23) episode after contraband is discovered in camp.
A Bush Bulletin arrives in camp on Thursday night’s episode, and newcomer Georgia ‘Toff’ Toffolo is tasked with reading out the message, which alerted the campmates to the news they wouldn’t be receiving their dinner until any camp contraband is “surrendered”.
Toff read: “Celebrities, there is contraband in camp.
“You will not get your dinner until you’ve surrendered all contraband.
“There’s an amnesty bowl in the Telegraph.”
Amir Khan was particularly confused by the ultimatum, asking: “What’s an amnesty bowl? What’s a contraband?”
Jordan Banjo explained to him, and then asked the group: “Who has got something they shouldn’t have?”
The celebrities had expected to see their dinner in the bag, but Amir realised it was a stone inside alongside the Bush Bulletin message.
Jordan then said: “Come on, own up. We’re all hungry. Who has got something they shouldn’t have?”
Earlier in the episode, Gillian McKeith owns up to another campmate that she has smuggled some contraband into camp.
Elsewhere on the ep, Andy Whyment and Myleene Klass go head-to-head in a trial in a bid to win a spot in the main camp.
The pair had been struggling to light the fire in their Savannah Scrub camp.
‘Coronation Street’ star Andy and singer Myleene thought they had spent about two-and-a-half hours trying to light the fire, but show co-hosts Ant and Dec revealed it was in fact more than four hours – a new ‘I’m A Celebrity’ record.
In the trial, the two are individually placed inside giant vuvuzelas, before being covered up to their necks.
They must take turns to pick a number and answer a question, which range from quizzing them about the planets, to the names of characters in teen TV show ‘Byker Grove’.
If they get it correct they earn a point and shower their opponent in critters. Get it wrong and they themselves are showered in critters.
‘I’m A Celebrity… South Africa’ airs tonight at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX, and on Virgin Media One and Virgin Media Player in Ireland.
