OHMYGOSSIP — Suki Waterhouse wants to rock for real after playing a musician on TV.
The ‘Daisy Jones and The Six’ star gushed about the “labour of love” that the cast – which includes Elvis Presley’s granddaughter Riley Keough and Sam Claflin – experienced to really “become” the titular music group in the upcoming mini-series, which is based on the Taylor Jenkins-Reid book of the same name.
The 30-year-old actress is quoted by the Daily Star newspaper’s Hot TV column as saying: “Learning these songs has just been such an incredible labour of love. And when we actually all get to be on stage, performing them, singing them note perfect, everybody’s literally as good.
“We could go and perform on the Sunset Strip. I don’t really know many kinds of movies or TV shows where you can actually become a band.
“We can actually all play together.”
Suki – who is currently on tour with her new music career – recently shared how “happy” she is in her five-year relationship with ‘Twilight’ star Robert Pattinson, 36, as the Amazon Prime Video series gears up to launch in March.
She said: “I am so happy with someone for nearly five years.
“I had two days off the other day, and it was like, no question I’m going back to see him. Then he’ll come out for a couple of days.
“Rob definitely isn’t getting advice from me about acting, but of course, I’ll try and get him to help me with an audition before he falls asleep on the sofa.
“I’m always incredibly excited when I see his name pop up [on my phone] or even a text, and I think he feels the same about me.”
“We’ve always got so much to say, and I find him hilarious.”
