OHMYGOSSIP — Channel 4 are set to launch a brand-new dating show which centres around classic scenes from Hollywood films.
The programme will reportedly see contestants re-enact famous romantic scenes in front of the cameras to see if a spark is there in real life.
The series – which is tentatively titled ‘Let’s Make a Scene’ – will see hopefuls taking on iconic moments from the flicks, including the pottery-making scene from ‘Ghost’, which starred Demi Moore and Patrick Swayze as well the Billy Crystal romcom ‘When Harry Met Sally’.
Fans of the Netflix hit ‘Too Hot to Handle’ will no doubt be eager to see this as it comes from the same team.
This news comes after the newest dating show from Channel 4 hit the screens last night (20.10.21).
Hosted by Joel Dommett, ‘The Love Trap’ sees eight women compete for the affections of 34-year-old personal trainer David Birtwistle – but only half of them are single.
Those unlucky enough to be turned down by David are eliminated – quite literally – through a trap door.
Frontman Joel, 36, was shocked that the women – who are also competing for a £20,000 cash prize – were so unreserved.
He said: “We didn’t really think anything like a kiss, or even further was going to happen. My Lord, were we very wrong, they really went in.”
Avid dating show fans may recognise the fitness trainer from his stint on ‘Too Hot to Handle’ and although he didn’t win a heart on that show, he knows exactly what he wants this time round.
He said: “She has to be outgoing, and fun, and bubbly – I want a best friend, as well as a partner. And someone who’s driven, that they want to achieve in their life, and they want to go places.”
