OHMYGOSSIP — Shannon Singh has become the first Islander dumped from this year’s ‘Love Island’.
The 22-year-old model from Fife has become the first person booted from the ITV2 reality show, after newcomer Chloe Burrows stole her man Aaron Francis and left her single at the beginning of Wednesday’s (30.06.21) episode.
And after just 48 hours in the villa, Shannon is gutted to be walking away but has “no regrets” about how she behaved on the show.
She said after her eviction: “It’s emotional because you meet people straight away and you bond. I was me in there, so it is what it is. No regrets.”
Chloe had no idea Shannon would be dumped from the show after she chose to couple up with Aaron, and they were both shocked by the news.
Speaking in the beach hut, Chloe said: “Damn. God. No-one saw that coming, geez. It’s such a shame because I really liked Shannon, she was so lovely, bless her.”
While Aaron added: “I was shocked. Yeah, I was very shocked. It’s thrown everyone off.”
After Shannon left, Chloe pulled Aaron over for a chat, where she revealed he is her “favourite” hunk in the villa so far.
Aaron told her: “I was surprised you chose me, but then I wasn’t when you said your reasons, you know what I mean?”
And Chloe said: “My conversation with you was my favourite. I felt like you just made me feel so comfortable and we had a lot to talk about. We had a really good conversation.”
In the beach hut, Chloe then said she’s sure she has “made the right decision” in picking Aaron.
She explained: “I think I’ve made the right decision for me right now. It just puts me in a better position to get to know him better, but also now to get to know everyone else better. Everything happens for a reason.”
