OHMYGOSSIP — Harry Redknapp and Nick Grimshaw have to isolate at home for 10 days after a crew member on ‘The Wheel’ tested positive for coronavirus.
The football manager and radio DJ are among a number of stars who are said to have come into contact with the member of production on Michael McIntyre’s BBC quiz show when the programme was being filmed last Friday (28.05.21), at Bovingdon Airfield in Hertfordshire.
A spokesman for ‘The Wheel’ told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “We can confirm an individual has tested positive for COVID.
“The production has and will continue to follow strict government guidelines to ensure the safety of all on the show.”
Nick is understood to have tested negative for COVID, but the 36-year-old star is filming his Radio 1 show from home this week.
He wrote on Instagram: “live from me lounge this week! every time I talk Ms Pig thinks I’m talking to her and waddles over (sic)”
Harry, 74, has also tested negative, but is still isolating from home.
Michael is said to have been given the green light to film more episodes with other celebs next week, as he didn’t come into contact with the production employee.
TV presenters Carol Vorderman, Angela Scanlon and Andi Oliver were all thought to be part of the episode, but a show source told the publication that only “a small number” of people came in contact with the positive crew member.
Angela was one of those who did not come into direct contact with the production member, and she has been hosting ‘The One Show’ this week.
‘The Wheel’ features seven celebrities strapped to the circumference of a giant wheel, as they try to help three contestants answer their way to a fortune.
