OHMYGOSSIP — Jordan Banjo has been unmasked as Viper on the first episode of ‘The Masked Dancer’.
Panellist Oti Mabuse guessed correctly that it was in fact the Diversity star making moves underneath the serpent-inspired costume to Lenny Kravitz’ hit ‘Are You Gonna Go My Way’.
The ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ professional said after he’d been revealed as Viper: “I just know you so well. I had the privilege of dancing with Diversity.”
Davina McCall thought it was boxer Anthony Joshua and Jordan, 28, smiled: “This entire experience was worth it just to be called Anthony Joshua.”
He said: “Oti didn’t play any games…”
Jonathan Ross – who thought it was Tommy Fury – quipped that he is the “better looking Anthony Joshua”.
Jordan spilled that the only member of Diversity to know that he was taking part in the ITV competition was Ashley Banjo.
He said: “The only one that knows is Ash.”
When asked by host Joel Dommett why he signed up for the wacky contest, he replied: “The past 12 months everyone has just been in a place where it just hasn’t been fun. It’s about having a laugh. Let’s just have some fun, man.”
Still yet to be unveiled on the ‘The Masked Dancer’ are Knickerbocker Glory, Beetroot, Zip, Scarecrow, and Llama.
The show returns on Sunday night (30.05.21) from 7.30pm on ITV.
