OHMYGOSSIP — Gordon Ramsay and Gino D’Acampo have teamed up for ‘Next Level Chef’.
The cooking duo will take part in the upcoming US cooking show, alongside fellow chef Nyesha Arrington, to recruit the very best line cooks, home chefs, social media stars, and food truck owners to test their kitchen skills in the worst circumstances.
Gordon said: “This is the next evolution in cooking competitions. It’s big and it’s bold, and I can’t wait for people to see it!”
The 54-year-old chef has created a three-stories high culinary gauntlet with each floor containing a different kitchen, including a challenging basement level with matching ingredients to a pristine top floor kitchen.
He will put the contestants up against each other to see who can handle the heat under tough conditions and create delicious dishes with the bare minimum.
Rob Wade, President, Alternative Entertainment and Specials, FOX Entertainment, said of the new show: “‘Next Level Chef’ is a unique format that could only come from the delightfully brilliant culinary mind of Gordon Ramsay.
“We couldn’t be happier to bring Gordon, Nyesha and Gino competing together on what is a new and innovative way into a cooking competition series.”
The show is one of several projects Gordon and Gino have worked on together after they shared the screen on ‘Gordon, Gino and Fred’s Road Trip’ with ‘First Dates’ star Fred Serieix.
Gordon’s production company, Studio Ramsay, also recently produced Gino’s latest TV series ‘Gino and Family’s Italian Adventure’, in which he will rediscover the places and flavours that inspired him to cook.
Gino said: “Food and family are everything to me and I’m so excited to take my family on a journey across Bella Italia. We are going to discover all sorts of amazing places, people and excellent new ingredients together. “It’s going to be fantastico! Look out Italy, the cooking D’Acampo’s are coming!”
