OHMYGOSSIP — Curtis Pritchard has promised ‘Love Island’ will feature in his “edgy” stand-up comedy set.
The 25-year-old star doesn’t hold back in his appearance on upcoming ‘Stand Up And Deliver’ charity show for Channel 4, as he makes reference to his time in the villa in 2019.
He told The Sun newspaper: “‘Love Island’ is in there, absolutely. There was lots of comedy elements in that.
“Comedy’s meant to be edgy, pushing the boundaries and at the end of the day, it’s meant to be just good fun and enjoyment for everyone that’s going to listen.
“That’s the answer I’ll give for that.”
According to the publication, Curtis – who split from Maura Higgins, 30, a year after they took part in the show – has compared girls on the ITV2 dating show to second hand cars.
He quipped: “You’ve got all these different shapes and sizes in front of you, take it for a spin, take it for a test drive and if you don’t like it, you send it back.”
Meanwhile, his former flame Maura is currently dating their fellow ‘Love Island’ star Chris Taylor, and the dancer has been open about their own romance going “downhill”.
On ‘Celebs Go Dating’, Curtis said: “Then with Maura it started to go downhill a little bit. She is now in a relationship with her ‘best friend’ who came into ‘Love Island’ and stated that he fancied Maura.”
Curtis previously admitted he was hurt by the romance, saying: “I feel betrayed by them both — two people I was very close to. When I saw the pictures, I’d be lying if I said I didn’t feel hurt. I was upset. How long has this truly been going on for?
“If you look back on everything — and I am looking back on it now — I’m like, ‘Curtis, all the signs were bloomin’ there, why didn’t you realise then?’ ”
