OHMYGOSSIP — Maisie Smith is missing her dog “like crazy” after she moved out of her family home.
The ‘EastEnders’ star is living away from her parents for the first time in order to take part in ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ and she admits she is finding it really hard without her pet pooch there with her.
Alongside a picture of her and her dog, she wrote: “Miss u like crazy girl (sic)”
And the 19-year-old actress – who is known for her role as Tiffany Butcher in the BBC One soap – also confessed she has learned to cook and clean whilst training for the BBC One latin and ballroom show because she is living alone.
She said: “It’s amazing. I’m absolutely loving it. I’m doing all this stuff I haven’t done before. Cooking and cleaning! It’s all stuff I’ve never done before, it’s exciting.”
Meanwhile, Maisie previously admitted she was ecstatic to be taking part in the competition but the news came as quite a shock to her family who love watching the show together.
Asked why she is taking part, the soap star said: “It’s a family favourite and I don’t think there’s anyone who hasn’t seen the show. There’s usually someone from ‘EastEnders’ on the show so there’s always someone I can support, and now that I’m that person it’s just surreal. It’s one of those things that you always wanted to do but you don’t expect it to actually happen. So in my house there was a lot of shock. I hadn’t told a great deal of people because I had to keep it so private so I could only tell a couple of my friends. We had been so excited holding it in so after the official announcement every single person was so excited for me. It’s been a really happy vibe.”
