OHMYGOSSIP — Lucy Fallon has landed her first acting role since quitting ‘Coronation Street’.
The 24-year-old star – who played Bethany Platt from 2015 until the character departed the cobbles in March this year – has signed up for radio play ‘Sour Hall’.
According to The Sun Online, Lucy will appear opposite ‘Doctor Who’ star Pearl Mackie, and former ‘Corrie’ actor Graeme Hawley, who appeared in the ITV soap as evil serial killer John Stape.
Lucy and Pearl are expected to portray a lesbian couple who are terrorised by a ghost.
Writer Laura Kirwan-Ashman revealed the horror play, which is set on a Yorkshire farm, is due to air in “early 2021”.
It was recently confirmed Lucy had landed her first post-‘Corrie’ job when she signed up for reality TV show ‘Don’t Rock the Boat’.
The gruelling, new programme – which is presented by Freddie Flintoff and AJ Odudu – will see a host of celebrities row 650 miles from Land’s End to John O’Groats.
Lucy previously admitted she has been “grateful” for “every second” of the programme, which will also feature former ‘Emmerdale’ actor Adam Thomas, politician Tom Watson, model Jodie Kidd, and former ‘Corrie’ star Craig Charles.
She wrote on Instagram: “The next adventure with these beautiful human beings. Grateful for every second of it. coming 2 your screens, ITV, later this year. Hold tight every1 in the building (sic)”
And eight weeks ago, Lucy admitted she was looking forward to giving her mum a hug after being away from home filming the show.
She posted: “The final push. grateful and ready to hug my mum x and also my dad xxx (sic)”
