OHMYGOSSIP — Mike Bushell thinks ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ has improved his sex life.
The 53-year-old sports presenter – who is partnered with Katya Jones on the BBC programme – has revealed that preparing for the weekly dance show has helped him to achieve a “slim new figure”.
Mike – who married his wife Emily earlier this year – shared: “Dancing’s made me sharper mentally and really improved me physically.
“I’ve lost nearly a stone and a half and Emily’s definitely happy that I have a slim new figure.
“She and my daughters were there to watch my samba routine last week, and they thought the hip thrusts were fun. My wife was like: ‘Wow.'”
Mike also revealed the extent of his commitment to the show, saying that he and Katya have been practising from 8am to 9pm.
And even if he doesn’t ultimately lift the coveted Glitterball Trophy, Mike knows he’s doing all he can to win.
Speaking to The Sun on Sunday newspaper, Mike explained: “I don’t want to go home. I’m having the best experience on this show.
“But saying that, we can’t work any harder than we are. We are training from 8am to 9pm. We can’t push harder. As long as I’ve done my best, and given everything, that’s all I can do.”

The dancer – who was married to fellow ‘Strictly’ star Neil Jones at the time – later apologised for her behaviour.
