Dillon Thomas to Ohmygossip.com: I am a cult, capricious beast, a walking paradox

“My long term goals would be having a family, write a book, winning an Academy Award and eventually living in Europe or some exotic locale. Who knows? Maybe meet the Illuminati or travel to space!! The sky is the limit,” the famous and beautiful model Dillon Thomas tells Ohmygossip.com exclusively!

Please, tell us about yourself?
I am the one and only, Dillon Thomas. I give edge. I am a cult, capricious beast, a walking paradox, foxy lady and a unicorn made of gold. Simply, a goddess like no other. My violence is sophisticated, be amazed, be very amazed. I live in Hollywood, California and am an actress of stage and film. My favorite films are American Psycho and The Brown Bunny. My dream role would be playing the lead in the film Monster. I am a true fashionista at heart and I sometimes model. I model everything from fashion to pin-up. I do Bettie Page impersonations which led to being photographed by the famous Bunny Yeager herself. I currently go to college part-time, my major is creative writing. Prior to that, I was a classically trained ballerina. I danced with the company ballet in my city throughout my early teens. Needing a change, I turned to the martial arts. I trained in olympic taekwondo sparring and competed at an elite level. I currently hold a 3rd degree black belt in the Korean art of Taekwondo and a 1st degree black belt in Hapkido. I also love the arts, e.g. theater, art and music. They have always been a huge part of my life i.e. I was raised in a bohemian household. I also really love the circus, Hall & Oates and Miami Vice. I love animals, Hello Kitty, HORSE the band and really spicy foods. Most important, my eyebrows are legendary. Worship the woman, the myth, the legend that is Dillon Thomas.

What would you like to be doing five years from now? What are your long-term goals – how are you preparing yourself to achieve them?

Five years from now I would like to be a college graduate, completing my BA. I would love to backpack across the world. In regards to acting, I want to work on amazing projects with incredible talent and garner several noteworthy film, tv and theater roles. I am also an aspiring playwright, so I would love be working on a play that I write and star in. My long term goals would be having a family, write a book, winning an Academy Award and eventually living in Europe or some exotic locale. Who knows? Maybe meet the Illuminati or travel to space!! The sky is the limit. Most important would be fulfilling my life’s purpose. I want achieve things that are significantly insightful or profound and prolific. I want to make my mark in the world and leave behind a great body of work. I strive to live up to my full potential by challenging myself, mastering everything, achieve new accomplishments that far surpass my original expectations and become a better me. That’s really what I aim for. As far as achieving goals, I prepare myself by having discipline, a strong work ethic, doing the work and mastering what it is exactly, that I want to achieve. Also having a positive belief system, that’s my recipe for success. Stay tuned.

Who is your role model and why?

My mother is definitely my role model. I feel so proud and fortunate to have her as my mom. She is a woman like no other, I simply adore her. She is brilliant, amazing, empowering, just wonderful. I aspire to someday, be half the woman she is. I love her, she is my everything.

What was the best advice you’ve been given?

It is a clever little saying, “If you fail to plan, you might as well plan to fail.”

What do you do in your spare time?

Hang out, be cool. I don’t know, I like boring things. For fun I might just look into a mirror and stare at my eyebrows and revel in how money they are. Lately, I’ve been thinking about the apocalypse. I’ve also been philosophizing, theorizing and riddling my existance in the vast cosmos as well. I enjoy engaging in conversations on the space knowledge, plant biology, existentialism and french theory. I may then choose to get metal to some SLAYER or start a party clik. PARTY! I also love antiquing, going to thrift stores, winning at ebay, baking, shopping and traveling. Also from time to time, I also pump my body to the top. Gotta stay fit! I love going to the zoo, farmers’ markets, museums and the cinema, going to see bands, eating and surfing the internet. La dolce vita! It’s the life that I live. This is me. This is real. This is what you thought you knew. This is Number One Hot Girl™.

Let´s talk about fashion too. Please describe your style? What do you wear most?
Fashion babe!! I love it! J’adore!! Basically my style depends on where I am headed that day. It can range from very casual to very upscale glam. Converse to YSL. I would like to think my style is unique and represents me and who I am as an artist, kinda haute hipster-esque with a rock n’ roll edge. Sometimes I infuse my look with a lil babydoll lolita. I love fur, diamonds and pearls. Haute couture, darling! I also love love love vintage clothing, everything from the 60s to 90s. Pucci to Gucci. I LOVE designer shoes, they’re a fetish of mine. I also dig Vans, which I wear a lot, SK8-His and slip-ons. Since I’m in college, I tend to rock the collegiate look a lot. Pretty chill, it’s a good look for me. Wink wink!

Who/what inspires your fashion?
I don’t really follow trends that much, so I get inspiration from street fashion and friends the most. I also draw inspiration from military attire, Native American and Indian cultures and rock n’ roll! I also find taxidermy to be inspiring.

How long do you spend on your outfit each day?

Depending on where I am headed, it can range anywhere from ten minutes to a few hours.

Is there one piece in particular that you would say is your signature piece?
My signature piece wouldn’t be one thing per se, but by adding a piece of flair to each outfit, it then becomes signature.

What is your favorite accessory?

I have more than one of course. My favorites would include: hats, scarves, headbands, headpieces, headdresses, hair bows, barrettes, eyeglasses, sunglasses and bracelets. I could go on and on.

What do you always carry with you?

In my purse I always have a prayer or milagro (religious piece/talisman) of some sort. As stocking stuffers this year, I got a few magic matchbox shrines. I put one in my purse to carry with me for good luck, perhaps I am superstitious.

What is your favorite fashion store/shop? Who is your favorite designer?
Oh dear, Chanel, Gucci, Louis Vuitton?! That’s such a hard question. I’m going to have to say my favorite store would be American Apparel. It’s an American staple and has been a favorite of mine for awhile now. It really has a bit of everything for any occasion. I have a few favorite online shops that I buy from that have really rad or one-of-a-kind pieces. I like the Cobrasnake Shop and right now, I adore Spanish Moss and Wildfox Couture. I love Halston, YSL and Chloe. I also loved what Imitation of Christ was all about, wicked sweet. My favorite designer would have to be Vivienne Westwood. Others include Alexander McQueen, Emilio Pucci, Jeremy Scott, Valentino, Marc Jacobs, Calvin Klein and now Brian Lichtenberg. THE END.
